I had room 401, which was beside the lifts, but I didn't hear them once. The room was very quiet. I also didn't hear the people above me. The neighbourhood is generally quiet and I was able to leave my window open without being disturbed. The breakfast selection is amazing, although also a bit unusual (but in a good way!). I would never have considered albóndigas (meatballs) a breakfast dish, but they were absolutely delicious and I had them both mornings I stayed. There was a wide selection to choose from. I was extremely satisfied. The hotel is about 5 minutes from La Rambla and I felt safe walking around, even at night. Within the same building but about 20 metres further up the road, there is a Carrefour Express supermarket, which will have most of what you need if you find you've run out of something. Within the hotel there are some vending machines selling water and some soft drinks. I don't remember the prices, but they seemed reasonable. It took about 30 or 35 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport, but most of that was traffic leaving the airport. Once we got into the city, it was much quicker. It took less than 10 minutes to get to the cruise terminal by taxi. I'd recommend taking a taxi rather than walking (although it is possible). You have to cross a steep bridge, and when you get to the other side, you have to go down and then double back part of the way. The taxi cost me less than €15 (which included the €4.50 surcharge for entering the port). If I ever return to Barcelona, I will definitely stay here again. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The room was spotless. I had a good sleep. And the breakfast was amazing. I can't ask for anything else.

The hotel is in a great location. It is so easy to get anywhere you want to go. Only a short walk to the Drassanes metro station, La Rambla is less than 5 minutes walk away, the Columbus Monument where you can get tickets and catch the Barcelona Bus Turístic hop-on-hop-off bus is about a 5 minute walk. The only issue was that there seemed to be a homeless services building on the block. I walked past it numerous times and did not have any problems. The rooms are not luxurious. They are functional and very comfortable. The beds were so comfortable (This coming from someone who usually has hip pain when sleeping). The single room had a full sized bed. My room also had a private outdoor area with loungers (don't know if this is true of all the singles). The only down side was the apartments overlooking it. I was able to put my laundry out to dry :). Without a doubt, definitely add the breakfast to your reservation. It is an all you can eat buffet well worth the money and better than anything else I saw in Barcelona. I am vegetarian, and found the choices to be good. After having breakfast, I did not have to eat again until around 5 pm. The cappuccino, latte, coffee machine was great. They also have a good selection of teas. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I would stay at this hotel in the future and will recommend it to friends and family. Reasonably priced, comfortable, with a good location. What else could you ask for?

The breakfasts were always excellent and the staff working at the breakfasts were very good at keeping the serving dishes full and that the tables were quickly cleared and cleaned when diners left. The front desk staff was always exceedingly helpful and friendly to deal with and offered help on things to see and do and places to eat. Our room was kept very clean and neat by the housekeeping staff. The location is great and very quiet, away from the bustle of La Rambla. Security was excellent.

The room was very large and comfortable. Lots of space to unpack. A good desk. The bath was extraordinarily large for a hotel and everything worked intuitively (for an American). The view (6th floor) over the city was very nice. The location near several metro stations helped me get around the city quickly and easily while staying on a quiet street. The hotel overall was very quiet and it was unusual to hear other guests. The breakfast area was spacious.

Everything ! We only visit Barca if this hotel is available. Location is 10/10 - facilities’s are amazing and the best nights I’ve had in ages ! Great hotel , lovely staff. Roof top pool is great with amazing views . Safe in room and locker and shower facilities for when you check out. Every element of this hotel has been well thought out . Also family rooms are second to none .
